I am currently working on a dessert series. These are a two competed paintings in the series.
I was inspired to do a dessert series by a parfait. I watched it being served at a resort hotel's restaurant last summer. It was the largest ice cream parfait I'd ever seen. Chocolate and French Vanilla ice cream with rich, hot fudge sauce drizzled over it and running down the glass in rivulets. It was topped with whipped cream, chopped nuts, two rolled hazelnut wafers and a cherry. It was glorious and truly a work of dessert art.
